As a trade marketing manager at Bureaucrat, Ltd., I was lucky enough to work closely with the customers. It helped me to improve my communication and problem-solving skills in the fast-paced environment, build an amazing sales team within our retail network.
I'm looking forward to gaining more experience in the event industry and apply my knowledge to achieve all corporate goals.

I am passionate about creative storytelling in the digital realm and connecting people through sport. While great stories come from game time performances, truly inspirational stories are told off the ice. Storytelling is what makes us human and how we can come to understand new perspectives.
Through my jobs, over the years I have had the honour of working with a number of great organizations. With my experience in both the public and private sector, I have learned the importance of teamwork, creativity, storytelling, design, and customer service.
My areas of interest include digital content, producing, writing, sports and live event production. I have ambitions to work at an international level, becoming a respectable and distinguished producer of marketing media. I hope to be as versatile as possible in the face of the constant evolution of the industry.

As an emerging events professional I use my past experience on nine different councils and committees to help navigate the current industry. My goal is to branch out from the realm of student events into the diverse cultural events industry that Toronto has to offer.

Ashley Gheerawo
Event Logistics & Project Management
Ashley is a recent graduate of Ryerson's Media Production program at the RTA School of Media, specializing in television production and it's technical
aspects. Ashley has experience in and aims to gain more skill around the
studio environment, both in hands-on and leadership roles.
Since being chosen to be one of the twelve youths chosen to represent the
youth demographic by TIFF, Ashley has gained a great love of the industry
from the exposure. Since then Ashley has volunteered for multiple intern
and volunteer opportunities such as at Bell Media's Etalk street team, CBC's
the Q, The Media Huddle, The 31st Genie Awards, Pivitol Media and TIFF.
Ashley aims to get more experience and know-how in the broadcasting
industry and apply her extremely dedicated and hardworking values.
